On behalf of The Faculty of Military Pharmacy, Republic of Indonesia Defense University, I would like to welcome you to the 2nd International Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences and Military Pharmacy (ICOPMAP). This conference is scheduled on September 3rd – 4th, 2022 by virtual format meeting due to the safety and health of our participants becoming our most priority.
This conference have the themes Pharmaceutical perspective: from upstream to downstream for reinforcing health resilience. Pharmacy has an important role for reinforcing health resilience one of them is through development and strengthening, starts at the upstream (pharmaceutical industries, researchers, lecturers etc.) and ends at the downstream (users of pharmaceutical products and services). To achive that goal, it absolutely needs collaboration. In the scientific session, we will distinguish the group into Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biology Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacology and Biomedical Science, Clinical Pharmacy, as well as Military Pharmacy. Those groups have connections to each other to find a breakthrough in drug discovery and development, as well as to determine the appropriateness of drug therapy for personalized medicine. Currently, we emphasize the collaboration to our unique field in military pharmacy, which will be integrated in five fields of pharmaceutical sciences. Moreover, all speakers represent scientists, regulator and also industries around the world which cover all scientific fields.
ICOPMAP is a translation of our commitment to the development of pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacy, and military pharmacy. The conference is also aimed to establish collaborative cooperation with scholars and practitioners from all over the world. Moreover, ICOPMAP is supported by distinguished speakers in plenary and scientific sessions from other leading universities overseas and the pharmaceutical industries. Therefore, it will not only gain international recognition but also have a greater impact on the quality of life of nations. I am certain that ICOPMAP will be a monumental event in the collaborative era to overcome this pandemic situation by achieving global health resilience.
